Дорогие друзья, наша община растет — и вместе с ней растут и наши служения. Мы переходим на структуру, основанную на служениях для работы нашего прихода. Каждое служение посвящено одной области приходской жизни и возглавляется прихожанином, который руководит командой помощников.
Руководители служений имеют реальную свободу действий и заботятся о своих бюджетах, вынося самые важные решения на приходской совет. Совет продолжает следить за общей жизнью прихода, в то время как каждый руководитель делится с ним тем, что они делают, чего достигли и какие у них планы на будущее.

Структура каждого служения
Руководитель
Каждое служение возглавляется одним прихожанином, который несет ответственность за его работу и направление.
Команда
Руководители собирают помощников, которые делятся своими дарами, и регулярно встречаются для координации и планирования.
Бюджет
Служения распоряжаются своими средствами и могут организовывать сборы для специальных проектов.
Совет
Руководители отчитываются перед Приходским советом и выносят на его рассмотрение наиболее важные вопросы для общего решения.
Our Ministries

Choir
Leads the choir in all that it does — rehearsals, music and sheet preparation, repertoire, and singing at the services and choir concerts. Decides who sings and when, and arranges coverage for weekday services when needed.

Church Adornment
Cares for the beauty of the temple, adorning the church for the feasts and seasons of the year. Welcomes anyone who feels drawn to beautify God's house.
The team keeps its own budget and may organize special collections for particular projects — altar cloths, an icon, an analogion cover, and more.

Festivals
Plans and runs our parish festivals — including the Slavic Food Fest, which this year brought in twice the income of the year before. Handles budgeting, sponsors, advertising, vendors, venues, printing, and social media.
Works with a dedicated team that meets regularly to coordinate the work.

Prayer Group
Organizes prayer groups, gathers the prayer needs of parishioners and brings them to the priest, and keeps these intentions before the community — as with the beautiful reading of the Psalter through Great Lent.

Building Committee
Works toward our future church home — searching for land or property, raising funds through fundraisers, collections, and appeals to benefactors, and handling the documents and permits along the way. We are beginning this work now, while our space grows smaller.
One of the founders of our mission in the early 2000s, gathering like-minded parishioners to build for the future.

Children & Sunday School
Cares for the children of our parish — Sunday school, activities, children's feasts, and creating a warm and welcoming space of their own.

Bible Study
Plans what we read together, lets everyone know when classes meet, and prepares the program — gathering a few helpers to lead sessions in both English and Russian.
Father continues to read and lead studies as well.

Catechists
Guides the catechism program — welcoming catechumens, keeping in touch with them, teaching them, and leading their preparation for Baptism.
Team includes Paisios (training as a catechist) and Zurab — with Joshua joining after his Baptism.

Altar
Oversees service in the altar — coordinating the servers, caring for the vestments and the cleanliness of the altar, and making sure everything needed for the services is ready.

Book Store
Runs the parish bookstore — offering icons, books, candles, crosses and other church items, keeping the table stocked after services, and managing orders and inventory.
